Our mission is to attract and win non-believers to membership in the body of Christ, to build believers toward spiritual maturity, to train maturing believers to serve in the ministry in the church, and to send believers into the world with a life mission.

Our vision is to transform the people of this community into faithful, committed followers of Jesus Christ through building relationships, educational programs, celebration worship services, effective ministries, and Christian fellowships.

                 Our Team Concept
Here at Cedar Hill Baptist Church we have adopted a Team Concept and approach to the way we do the day to day business and long range planning.  We are still in the early stages but are working hard to streamline the operations of the church to keep it easy and keep everyone, member or not, engaged in the process.  The Leadership Team guides the direction of the church.  The Discipleship Ministry Team is responsible for the areas of teaching and discipleship such as, Sunday School, VBS, Children's Ministry and like ministries.  The Fellowship Ministry Team is charged with the coordination of all special events within the church such as Love Loud Weekend, Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Coffee House along with working with the ushers and greeters.  The Spiritual Ministry Team is responsible for areas pertaining to spreading the Word of God.  This team is encouraged to use innovative methods to reach people for Christ through our Worship Services, Lord's Supper, and Special Services.
We have found that the Team Concept is much easier for new members to understand and also easier for current members to navigate as opposed to committees. The other advantage to our concept is that we enourage all regular attenders, whether they are members or not, to be involved in the process.  Join a team, and see that the things you feel the church needs to be doing make it to the Leadership Team.  The church is really starting to get behind this process and it can only get better.  We need you here, we need your input, because you know the ways to reach people for Christ that we may not know.  Come join us and find the team where your ideas can be put into motion to advance the Kingdom of God!
